Postal Mail

Please use our printable order blank (PDF format) if you can, or print your name and address on a sheet of paper along with the quantity, catalog number, a brief description, and the price for each item. Include a telephone number, fax number, or email address in case we have questions.

If paying by credit card, be sure to include the card number, expiration date, and security code. Be sure to sign your order. If paying by check, be sure to read our terms and shipping information and include any applicable tax in your total. Mail your order to:

Email and PayPal™

Send your name and address, along with the quantity, catalog number, a brief description, and the price for each item by email to the address below. Do not send credit card information by email. Secure payments can be made using PayPal sent to the same address. If you are not a user of PayPal, please sign up for their service. There is no cost to you for this service. We ship only to PayPal confirmed addresses.

We will be happy to accept your credit card orders over the phone. Our normal business hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday (Pacific time). If there is no answer, be sure to leave a message.  Our voice mail system is secure.

In Person

We have many products on display. Our normal business hours are 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Please call ahead to make sure that we will have the correct person and products available. Many items require some final assembly and packaging to be ready for you to take with you. We will be happy to see you at other times or days by prior arrangement.

Terms

All prices are in US dollars. Use your credit card, and we will calculate all other amounts or send a check or money order for the full amount plus handling and estimated shipping charge. California residents are charged sales tax at the required rate. If the amount sent is less than required, the quantity of one item or the number of items will be decreased and the order filled.

If uncertain, please include an extra amount that will be refunded by check (for international orders, refunds are in US dollars only). Orders paid by check cannot be shipped until the check has been processed by your bank. Special orders or customized products must be paid before the order is started (your credit card will be charged at that time). We accept Visa™, MasterCard™, American Express™, and Discover™.

Shipping

Calculation of shipping costs is very complex. If you are paying by credit card, we will add to your order the exact amount charged us. If you require an exact shipping cost, please contact us for a quote before ordering. You may also contact a shipping company directly.

Small Packages

Small packages shipped within the United States will be sent by Priority Mail flat-rate box. In the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, these boxes are $5.80, $12.35, and $17.45 respectively. Air delivery takes one to three days. For international shipping costs see below.
    • Small Size – 8 5/8" x 5 3/4" x 1 5/8" with a Maximum Weight of 20 Pounds in the US and 4 Pounds Internationally
    • Medium Sizes – 11" x 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" or 13 5/8" x 11 7/8" x 3 3/8" with a Maximum Weight of 70 Pounds in the US and 20 Pounds Internationally
    • Large Sizes – 12" x 12" x 5 1/2" or 23 5/16" x 11 3/4" x 3" with a Maximum Weight of 70 Pounds in US and 20 Pounds Internationally

Typical Orders

Most orders are shipped with UPS™ ground shipping, unless you specify otherwise. Many items are packaged in several boxes, and shipping must be calculated on each package. Many other complex fees and adjustments also apply that make estimating the cost difficult. To calculate UPS shipping, please call UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS (in the United States) or their local office.  Or visit www.ups.com.  The Information You Need to Give Them Is:
    • Shippers Postal Code – 93036
    • Packaging – Your Packaging
    • Drop-Off/Pickup – Customer Counter
    • Weight – From Catalog Pages for Each Package
    • Package Dimensions – Leave Blank
    • Origin Country – United States
You should also be prepared to answer where the package is being sent and to select a type of service (ground, air, etc.). Do not select any other options. Simply total all of the amounts for individual packages and include the total amount in your order.

Flammable Items

Oil and grease must be shipped by UPS ground only. Additional packing is required.

 

Large or Heavy Items

Certain items noted in the catalog as "freight only" must be sent by truck, air, or ocean freight. If you have a preferred shipping company, you may contact them for rates and then send that information to us. We recommend ABF Freight Systems which can be reached at www.abfs.com or call their local office. Please note that for truck shipments there is a large cost difference between delivery to a residence and a business.  We suggest that you request delivery to their nearest terminal where you can pick up your order.  If this is not desirable then arrange for a business to receive your order.  Otherwise, please contact us for a quotation and delivery options.

International Shipments

The USPS no longer offers international surface mail; only Priority Mail™ is available. The most economical packages are flat-rate boxes as listed above, but items must fit their boxes. Your country may have size limits, and they may limit what can be sent. To Canada, the flat rate boxes are $20.55, $42.25, and $55.75. To Mexico and all other countries, the boxes are $24.75, $61.75, and $80.50.  Other options are available at www.usps.com.

UPS can generally provide delivery directly to your door in most areas of the world, but this can be expensive. Some restrictions may apply; please contact us for a detailed quote. Shipment by other methods may require you to claim the items at customs or to retain the services of a customs broker.

APO, FPO Orders, and Shipments to Post Office Boxes

These shipments must be made by United States mail. Please contact us or your local post office for size and weight restrictions and cost.

Minimum Orders

There is no minimum order.

Packing and Handling

Items showing a cost in the packing and handling column require careful packaging to ensure safe arrival. All of our packaging is professionally designed and more elaborate than that used for in-store sales. This cost is what is in this amount. Unless listed otherwise, packing cost is per unit.

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice. When uncontrollable supplier increases occur, please indicate on your order if you want us to contact you before shipping, send a lesser quantity, or charge you for the new amount (credit card orders only).

Back Orders

Most items are normally available in standard quantities. Delays from suppliers, large orders, or unusual demand may result in delays. These are normally only last a few days. Please indicate on your order if you want to be contacted before a back order is placed. We will always notify you of any items that are back ordered over 30 days.

Special Orders

Orders for items that are customized from standard products or made to order, once placed, cannot be canceled. Prepayment or a deposit may be required.  Additional delivery time is required to complete the necessary work.

Errors, Returns, and Damage

Please contact us about any errors or shortages in your order. Merchandise sent in error may be returned without prior authorization. No other returns are allowed without prior approval. Defective castings will be replaced if found during machining operations.  Report USPS and UPS shipping damage to us and other damage to the delivery carrier.

Manuals

Many of our products come with instruction sheets, manuals, or other information. If these are lost, please write to us, identifying the item and approximate date purchased. We will replace them at no charge.
